New Bill Pay Feature

Our Bill Pay service now offers Account to Account transfers as well as Next Day Payments. The “Transfer Money” tab allows you to transfer funds to your external accounts at other financial institutions or vice versa. You can also view transfer history. Same-Day Bill Payments enable you to make a same day payment to a large list of popular billers/merchants.

Log onto Bill Pay and set these features up today.

Have You Heard the News?

What’s in a name? Well, a lot if you’re the new Argent Credit Union mascot. Yes, our latest Argent character has come to life! Meet Sergeant “Sarge” Argent! Sarge can be seen at community and sponsorship events around the Richmond area. Richmond Flying Squirrels, VCU and University of Richmond Athletics, not to mention charity functions and much more!

“Sarge” looks forward to meeting members, fans of sponsorships and the community by providing a need for Fiscal Fitness, strength and stability. Sarge is very athletic and an adventurer too, seeking out the best financial products at the lowest rate possible for you!

So be on the lookout for “Sarge” because he’s eager to meet you!

Annual Meeting

Our 56th Annual Meeting took place on Monday, May 7th, at our Operations Center in Chester, Virginia. Two $2,500 scholarships were awarded to deserving youths, Lauren Reichert and Melissa Skoff. Both recipients will be attending the University of Virginia where Lauren will study Engineering and Melissa will study Biomedical Engineering.

Our Chairperson, Betty Beverly reminded attendees that although the past few years have been challenging economically, Argent Credit Union is still able to balance our budget and offer new services to our members. The President, Rose Gilliam, reviewed the accomplishments of the last year and explained what the credit union has planned in the coming months. To end the evening, refreshments were served and everyone left with a smile. We look forward to another successful year!
