Thank You, Richmond! Argent Voted Best Credit Union of 2026
This honor comes during our 70th anniversary year
Argent Credit Union has been voted Best Credit Union for 2026 by the readers of the Richmond
Times-Dispatch.
This award means a lot to us because it comes directly from our neighbors. It also comes at
a special time, as we celebrate 70 years of serving families, friends and neighbors across
the Richmond area.
“Being recognized by the community we serve makes our 70th anniversary year even more
special,” said Jamie Asciolla, President/CEO of Argent Credit Union. “Each day our

Rooted in our community
Argent began in 1956 serving DuPont Spruance employees. Today we serve more than
36,000 members in Chesterfield, Henrico and Hanover counties and the City of Richmond,
with eight Member Centers across the metro area.
Our commitment goes beyond financial products. “Our employees live, work and raise their
families in the same neighborhoods as our members,” Asciolla said. “We recognize the
importance of building community prosperity, helping make our community stronger
through financial support, educational opportunities, or hands-on volunteerism.”
Looking ahead
As we grow, our focus stays on serving you better. That includes growing our branch
network, enhancing our digital banking technology, introducing new financial products and
expanding our financial literacy resources. “We’re committed to making banking more
convenient, more secure, and always with a focus on helping our member-owners achieve
financial wellness,” Asciolla said.
