Eligibility Criteria for Opening an Account

Conveniently open your account online if you:

• Live, work, attend school, worship, or volunteer in the Counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, and the City of Richmond
• Are an immediate family member or housemate of an eligible individual
• Are at least 18 years of age and
• Are a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Resident Alien

What You’ll Need:

1. A minimum of $5.00 to open your account.
2. A valid drivers license or DMV issued I.D. card and your social security number.
3. A physical address (Sorry, no P.O. Boxes). You can establish a P.O. Box as your mailing address once your account is opened.

If you plan to add a joint owner, you will also need the above information for them as well.
