Full-Time Financial Services Specialist
Argent Credit Union is currently seeking a Full-Time Financial Services Specialist working at least 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday during the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. at any one of our 5 locations and 2 to 3 Saturdays per month from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at our Chester or Oxbridge location.
Job Description:
- Completes teller transactions relating to existing accounts; opens, services, and maintains accounts; and collects and disburses loan applications in an accurate and timely manner
- Addresses member’s questions and concerns
- Recognizes opportunities for cross-selling our products and services relating to each individual members financial needs
- Provides exceptional service to both internal and external members
- Enthusiastically supports and leads by example the Credit Union’s service vision, values, goals and policies
- Contributes to the team achievement of departmental goals by meeting or exceeding individual goals
- Maintains current knowledge of credit union policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college education or business courses preferred
- Previous credit union or banking industry experience preferred
- Customer Service experience
- Sales experience preferred performing against set goals/quotas
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual is a plus
- Ability to analyze problems and recommend efficient solutions
- Present a professional image at all times
- Must be able to perform tasks in an organized manner and have the ability to learn, comprehend and retain information
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Satisfactory credit and ability to pass a background check required
